Reflections during COVID

These images have no expectations, they simply are.

In the newly found quiet , spaces and objects I have known for years speak to me

of the emotions I am feeling. The decisive moment- when the light and angles-

just right, illuminate and tell a story better than words could ever do.

There is a poignant beauty in the silence and solitude of the ever changing light.

The uncertainty, loneliness and helplessness of what the world is now witnessing

cannot be escaped, and in our isolation we are forced to look inward - after the hating,

and longing there is ultimately forgiveness for being human and fragile.

I finally make peace with myself.
